The colourful, non-porous and non-reactive glaze is also resistant to chips, scratches and stains. Silicone gaskets provide an airtight seal to help keep contents fresh, making these canisters as practical as they are decorative.
The smallest size (0.2 L) is perfect for use as a salt cellar. The 0.47 L size is ideal for dried herbs or 8 to 12 oz (225 to 340 g) of nuts. The 0.77 L canister holds approximately 1 lb (454 g) of quinoa, 1 lb (454 g) of brown sugar or a standard bag of coffee beans. The largest size (1.1 L) can hold approximately one box of dry short pasta, 2 lb (907 g) of granulated sugar or 2 lb (907 g) of dry white rice.
Durable enough for everyday use, the stoneware canisters are dishwasher safe. The wooden lids must be hand washed only and are not oven safe.
